Megan is loving 2nd grade!! She loves her teacher and is loving her class. It seems to be a good mix of kids, although there are lots more boys than girls in her class (which doesn't seem to bother her! ;o) She's already friends with alot of the kids, having had some of them in her class last year or Kindergarten. This week and next, they are reading a story about a girl and her grandmother from Hawaii, and they're gearing up for their big 2nd grade event... the 2nd grade luau!! We picked up a grass skirt yesterday and some goodies for the party next week. They're all SO excited!!
Mom and I have had some photography sessions lately. We did a bridal session a week or two ago and will do the wedding this Sunday. We don't normally do weddings, but this girl dances with Mom and my sister and she really wanted us to do it, so it's sort of our gift to her. We're a little nervous about it, but hopeful that it will all be great (albeit hot and muggy!!) We did a pregnancy session last night with a really nice couple. They were great to photograph and took direction really well. We're really pleased with the photos so far. Here's one...
Their baby is due in two weeks, so it's almost time!! We're working on getting our website up and running. Mom is meeting with her friend tonight who will work on our website. Hopefully we can have something up and running soon. We're excited about it. Fall seems to be our busiest time.
