So I am going to try my hand at blogging...

Not sure how this will go, but I enjoy reading the blogs of others and thought I might give it a whirl too!

This weekend was a busy one for us. I had agreed to help with a fundraiser at the Cookeville Children's Museum for Mom and me Spa Night at the museum. We discovered CCM at the beginning of the summer and Megan has loved going there for events. I had volunteered to donate some supplies since I truly am not using mine right now, and ended up running the scrapbook tent. The tent was a flurry of activity all night. Our last moms/daughters didn't even leave the tent until well after 9pm. It was also REALLY hot out there and the sun was beating down on us, so there was LOTS of sweating going on! Spa Night had lots of fun activities though and it seemed like everyone really enjoyed themselves. We had 75 moms with their daughters (at least one each, some had more) and the event seemed really well received! Megan and Rachel both loved it. (Rachel went with me and helped me at the scrapbook tent. Megan came with a friend of ours and her daughter, thankfully, and they took her around to do all of the events.)

I have finals for my summer classes tomorrow. I still have a little more writing to do for my music class and need to do more algebra problems as well. It's already 7pm, so I'd better hit the books! Ah, the summer term is almost over!!!!
